Nomid MDM is Nomid's platform for managing corporate Android devices. IT, deployment, operations, and support teams can provision equipment, apply policies, distribute applications, monitor the fleet, integrate corporate identities, and provide remote support.

This wiki brings together the operational and technical documentation for the Nomid MDM ecosystem. It covers everything from initial environment setup to daily portal administration, with focused guides for provisioning, identity, applications, and support.

Choose your goal

• Learn and operate the portal: use the Portal.
• Create a policy: use the New policy wizard, then review all settings under Policies.
• Add a device: follow New device for Android Company, Android Personal, or Pico VR.
• Deploy a new environment: begin with the First 3 steps guide.
• Provision Android Company devices at scale: choose between Zero-touch and Knox Mobile Enrollment.
• Configure identity and Google: read Cloud Identity and Google Workspace and fully managed Android.
• Distribute and configure applications: see Web apps in Managed Google Play and dynamic variables in managed configurations.
• Provide a Google Maps route as a Web App: follow Create a Web App for a Google Maps route to create and test the link, distribute Maps and Chrome, and validate the shortcut on the device.
• Perform support procedures: use Smart Switch restoration and Remote Access.

Recommended order for new environments

1. Prepare the corporate identity and define the responsible administrative account.
2. Connect Android Enterprise by following First 3 steps.
3. Create a pilot policy and validate it on a small group of devices.
4. Use New device and choose the appropriate method: QR code, Zero-touch, or KME.
5. Use the portal manual to monitor devices, policies, applications, and integrations.

Languages and maintenance
