Best MDM for MSPs managing Android across client companies
If your clients run company-owned Android devices or PICO headsets, start with Nomid: each client gets its own company workspace, one partner view covers them all, and pricing is per device with no minimum. If clients also need iPhones, Macs or Windows in the same console, or you already run NinjaOne, another platform here is likely a better fit.

The short answer, by situation
Four starting points, depending on what your clients run and what you already use. We make Nomid, so read the sources and test on your own devices.
Android and PICO across client companies
Each client is its own company. The partner view shows totals and devices across clients, and you assign team access by client.
Android and PICO only. No white-label, and no copying a policy from one client to another.
Read the assessment NinjaOneYou already run NinjaOne
Android and Apple MDM in the console you use for endpoints, with a separate Android Enterprise connection per client.
The pages we read name no VR coverage and no MDM-only price.
Read the assessment ManageEngine MDM Plus MSPMixed-OS clients, published MSP price
A multi-tenant MSP edition, in the cloud or on-premises, with per-device prices on its site.
The published prices assume 500 devices and one technician, so ask what a smaller client base costs.
Read the assessment Hexnode UEM MSPMixed-OS clients, isolated tenants
Separate UEM nodes per client, with strict tenant isolation, under a central MSP dashboard.
MSP pricing is by quote, and the pages we read don’t list Android Enterprise modes.

What to check before you choose
- Client separation
- Ask what actually separates clients: a tenant, a database or a filter in one shared account. It decides what a client admin can see and how cleanly a client can leave.
- Team access by client
- Technicians should reach only the clients they support, and a client’s admin only their own company.
- Cross-client view
- Check what rolls up across clients and what you still open client by client, such as policies and apps.
- Android Enterprise coverage
- Fully managed, dedicated, work profile, zero-touch, Samsung KME. Confirm the modes your clients’ devices need on a representative device.
- Pricing on small fleets
- Minimums and tiers matter when many clients have 20 or 50 devices. Check the price at your real client size, not at 500 or 10,000 devices.
- Living with your RMM
- Decide whether MDM sits inside the RMM or beside it, then test the Android work you actually sell, such as kiosks and shared devices, in that setup.
The seven platforms compared
What each vendor’s own pages say for MSPs. “Not described” means we didn’t find it on the pages we read, not that the product lacks it.
| Platform | Client separation | Android Enterprise coverage | Platforms | Published pricing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nomid | Each client is a separate company under a partner view. Team access is assigned by client. | Company-owned and work profile, single-app and multi-app kiosk, zero-touch, Samsung KME, QR code, CSV import and USB provisioning. | Android and PICO only. | Pro is $1.29 per Android device and $5.00 per VR headset per month, with no device minimum. Free covers up to 10 devices. Partner terms are agreed directly. |
| NinjaOne | Multi-tenant console. A separate Android Enterprise connection can be bound for each client. | Fully managed, dedicated, work profile, zero-touch and Samsung KME. | Android and Apple for MDM, in the console that also covers endpoints. | $1.50 to $3.75 per endpoint per month, by volume. Whether a mobile device counts the same isn’t stated. Free trial. |
| ManageEngine MDM Plus MSP | Dedicated multi-tenant MSP edition. How tenants are separated isn’t described on the pages we read. | Full device, dedicated device and work profile, with Zero Touch, Samsung Knox, EMM token and NFC enrollment. | Apple, Android, Windows and ChromeOS. | From $1.25 per device per month (Standard) or $2.30 (Professional), for 500 devices and one technician. 30-day free trial. |
| Hexnode UEM MSP | Independent UEM nodes with strict tenant isolation, under a central dashboard. | Android Enterprise and Zero-Touch are named. Management modes aren’t listed on the pages we read. | Windows, macOS, Android, Apple, Linux, ChromeOS and more. | MSP pricing by quote. Standard UEM plans start at $2.20 per device per month from 15 devices; those aren’t MSP prices. 14-day trial. |
| Miradore | MSP Portal across customer instances. Each customer’s data is stored in a separate database. | Fully managed, work profile and fully managed with work profile, with zero-touch and Samsung KME. | Android, Apple and Windows. | Free start and a 14-day Premium+ trial. MSPs are billed on total licenses issued; we found no published MSP price. |
| Scalefusion | Partner portal for deals, customer data and licenses. Client separation isn’t described on the pages we read. | Full device, dedicated and work profile, with Android Zero Touch and Samsung KME. | Windows, macOS, iOS, Linux, ChromeOS and Android. VR device management is listed. | From $2 per device per month, billed annually, with a minimum of 10 total devices. MSP pricing isn’t published. Free trial. |
| SOTI MobiControl | Multi-Tenant Portal in SOTI Identity links client tenants to an MSP account. MobiControl is supported. | Android Zero-Touch and Samsung KME, plus COBO, COPE, CYOD and BYOD models. | Android, Apple, Windows and Linux. | Not published on the pages we read. Free trial offered. |

Each profile says when the platform fits, when to reconsider and what to confirm. We read vendor pages; we didn’t test these products hands-on.
Jump to a platform
Best for Android and PICO across client companies
Nomid
- Choose it when
- Your clients run company-owned Android devices or PICO headsets, and you want each one in its own workspace with pricing per device.
- Reconsider if
- Clients need iPhones, Macs or Windows in the same console, you need your own branding on the Portal, or you want to push one policy to many clients at once.
Nomid manages Android Enterprise devices and PICO headsets from one Portal. In the partner view you add client companies and users, see company and device totals, and filter a device list by client. Then you move into a client’s company to work on policies, apps, kiosk settings and remote support. Nomid is an Android Enterprise Silver Partner, and its MSP and reseller partners include hardware-as-a-service provider Altbit.
What to check
The partner view is set up with Nomid; it isn’t a switch on a Free account. Remote access needs a paid plan and depends on the device and management mode. Partner pricing isn’t published.
Best if you already run NinjaOne
NinjaOne
- Choose it when
- Your technicians already work in NinjaOne, and you want phones and tablets beside laptops and servers, with baseline policies across clients.
- Reconsider if
- Your clients need PICO headsets, which the pages we read don’t mention, or you don’t use NinjaOne for anything else.
NinjaOne is an endpoint and RMM platform with an MDM offer for MSPs. It brings Android and Apple devices into the console your team uses for endpoints, and its MSP page describes applying policies across client organizations from one place.
What to check
Ask how mobile devices are licensed, and test kiosk and shared-device policies on a representative device.
Best for mixed-OS clients who want a published MSP price
ManageEngine MDM Plus MSP
- Choose it when
- Clients run a mix of Apple, Android and Windows devices, or you need an on-premises option, and you want a list price to plan around.
- Reconsider if
- Your clients are mostly small Android fleets and the 500-device pricing basis doesn’t fit, or you need PICO headsets, which the pages we read don’t mention.
Mobile Device Manager Plus MSP is ManageEngine’s MDM edition for service providers, offered in the cloud or on-premises. Endpoint Central MSP, listed beside it, adds patching, remote access and software deployment.
What to check
Ask for a quote at your real number of devices and technicians. The page we read names Samsung Knox enrollment but not KME specifically.
Best for mixed-OS clients who need isolated tenants
Hexnode UEM MSP
- Choose it when
- Clients run several operating systems and you want each one in a strictly separate tenant.
- Reconsider if
- Your clients are Android-only and a multi-OS platform is more than you need, or you want a list price before talking to sales.
Hexnode is a multi-OS UEM with a separate MSP edition. Each client runs in its own UEM node, and a central dashboard oversees them.
What to check
Get the MSP quote, and confirm the Android Enterprise modes you need on a representative device.
Best for MSPs that want white-label at scale
Miradore
- Choose it when
- You want a free starting point across Android, Apple and Windows customers, or your own branding and the volume to support it.
- Reconsider if
- You need PICO headsets, which the pages we read don’t mention, or white-label below 10,000 devices.
Miradore is a cloud MDM with a partner program for service providers. Its MSP Portal shows all customer instances in one place, and it offers white-labeling with a commitment of at least 10,000 devices and a one-time setup fee.
What to check
Test kiosk needs on a representative device, since the Android modes page we read doesn’t name a dedicated mode. Confirm current plan prices with Miradore.
Consider for multi-OS clients and partner tooling
Scalefusion
- Choose it when
- Clients mix laptops, phones and tablets, and you want them under one vendor with Android kiosk support.
- Reconsider if
- You need clients strictly separated and can’t confirm how that works.
Scalefusion is a multi-OS UEM with a partner program for managed service providers. Its MSP page describes a dedicated partner portal for registering deals, managing customer data and assigning licenses.
What to check
Ask how each client is separated, what the MSP price is and which VR headsets are covered.
Consider if clients already use MobiControl
SOTI MobiControl
- Choose it when
- Clients already run MobiControl, or need its staging options such as SOTI Stage and Zebra StageNow.
- Reconsider if
- You want a list price before talking to sales, or you need PICO headsets, which the pages we read don’t mention.
SOTI MobiControl is a multi-OS device management product. SOTI Identity has a Multi-Tenant Portal that lets an MSP reach client tenants from one account; only MobiControl and SOTI Connect support it.
What to check
Confirm how daily work across clients runs inside MobiControl, since the help page we read covers portal access.
Pilot with one client
Pick one client and one device role. Results depend on the device, management mode, Android version and connectivity, so test on hardware the client really uses.
Have ready
- One representative device, factory reset if it will be fully managed
- The client’s apps, network settings and who needs access
- The enrollment path that device supports: QR code, zero-touch, Samsung KME or USB
Try the first client
- Write one policy for one device role, with apps, network and any kiosk settings
- Enroll the device and assign the policy
- Give it to someone who does that job and watch them use it
What to verify
- The device record shows the assigned policy, installed apps and last reported state
- Your technician can reach this client and not another
- The commands and remote support you plan to sell work on this device and plan
With Nomid, the Free plan covers up to 10 devices with no time limit, so you can try one device role first. It excludes remote access, and the partner view is set up with Nomid.
How we compared them
We chose platforms that publish something specific for MSPs or partners, then read each vendor’s own MSP, product and pricing pages.
We rank by fit to the MSP’s situation, not by score. Nomid leads for Android and PICO across clients because that is the job it is built for, and the shortlist says where another platform fits better.
Esper’s partner console is invite-only, and Kaseya VSA’s mobile page names Apple and Android without describing client separation, so both stay out of the table. TinyMDM is Android-focused and names PICO, but we didn’t find a multi-client console on the pages we read.
This guide interprets vendor pages. It doesn’t include hands-on tests. Vendor pages change, so confirm current details before you buy.
Questions MSPs ask about Android device management
What is the best MDM for an MSP managing Android across client companies?
It depends on what else your clients run. For clients on Android and PICO only, we recommend Nomid, and we make it. For clients who also need Apple or Windows, look at ManageEngine MDM Plus MSP or Hexnode UEM MSP. If your team already works in NinjaOne, start with its MDM.
Does Nomid keep each client separate?
Yes. Each client is a separate company with its own devices, policies and users. Partner users reach the companies linked to their partner account, and you assign team access by client.
Can I see all my clients in one place?
Yes. The partner view shows company and device totals, active devices, enrollment over time, devices by status, and a table of clients with device and user counts. A device list filters by client. Policies and apps are managed inside each client’s company, and there is no copying a policy from one client to another today.
How does Nomid pricing work for MSPs?
List pricing is Pro at $1.29 per Android device and $5.00 per VR headset per month, with no device minimum. Partner pricing and commercial terms aren’t published; they are agreed directly with Nomid based on your business model and device requirements.
Does Nomid replace my RMM?
No. Nomid manages Android devices and PICO headsets, and it runs beside your RMM. Keep the RMM for laptops, servers and networks.
Can I white-label Nomid?
Not today. Clients see Nomid in the Portal. If your own branding is a requirement, Miradore lists white-labeling with a commitment of at least 10,000 devices and a one-time setup fee.
Can Nomid manage my clients’ iPhones, Macs or Windows laptops?
Not today. Nomid manages Android Enterprise devices and PICO headsets. iOS support for iPhone and iPad is coming soon. Macs and Windows laptops aren’t supported.
Can I provision devices before they ship to a client?
Yes, depending on the hardware. Zero-touch and Samsung KME enroll supported devices at first setup, QR codes and CSV import cover other batches, and Nomid OPS provisions over USB, which is useful for VR headsets. Pilot one representative device before a large order.
