A policy is the configuration you assign to managed devices. It groups supported app, network, security, launcher, and other device settings so you can manage a role consistently.
Can different devices use different policies?
Yes. You can define policies for different device roles and assign an appropriate policy to a managed device. Available settings depend on its management mode and Android version.
Will a change reach every device immediately?
A saved policy change is made available to assigned devices. When it takes effect depends on connectivity, device sync, the setting, and the device’s supported management mode.
Can a policy create a kiosk device?
