What should I check on Warehouse 001?

Ask Nomid

Start with the last reported battery level. Then review its policy and recent sync status before deciding what to do next.

Battery reported at 18%

Check whether the scanner needs charging before the next shift.

A conversation with context.

Open Ask Nomid while you work, or request an AI summary from a device’s detail page. Ask a follow-up without starting the investigation again.

Device status, assigned policy and recent sync signals give you a place to start. Open the relevant record to check the details.

Find devices

Describe the fleet you need to see.

Turn a plain-language request into filters on your Devices list. Find the devices that need a closer look without building every filter yourself.

Review the filters, adjust them if needed, and keep working in the same list or map. Your search changes the view, not the devices.

Create a policy

Start with the job. Shape the policy.

Describe how your Android devices will be used. Nomid AI prepares a policy proposal, asks for missing details, and helps you refine it.

Review the apps, launcher, network and device settings. Edit anything that needs changing, then create the policy when you’re ready.

A head start. You’re still in charge.

Your workspace, your access

Device and policy lookups respect your permissions. Ask Nomid works with the information your role can access.

Review before you act

Check the answer against the device record. Refine policy proposals before creating them. AI doesn’t send device commands for you.

A handoff when you need it

For some Android enrollment issues, Ask Nomid can prepare a message for support. You review it and decide when to send it.

A few things worth knowing.

Read the Ask Nomid guide

What can I do with Nomid AI?

Ask about devices and the page you’re working on, find relevant records and help documentation, turn natural-language requests into device filters, and draft Android policies. Device summaries and follow-up questions help you decide what to check next.

Can AI change my devices or deploy a policy?

Ask Nomid helps you investigate and navigate; it does not send commands such as lock, reboot or wipe. In the policy wizard, you review and edit the proposal before explicitly creating a policy. Assigning it to devices remains a separate step.

Can I use my own words to search for devices?

Yes. Describe a supported condition, such as inactive devices or devices that haven’t synced recently. Nomid turns the request into visible filters that you can inspect and adjust. Some conditions are not supported; review any warning and the resulting filters.

Does AI policy creation support VR headsets?

AI policy creation currently applies to Android policies. PICO headset policies use the existing policy tools in the Portal.
