Device and enrollmentQuestion 1 of 9

Who owns the devices?

Ownership is the first boundary between a work profile and company-owned management.

Who owns the devices?

One plan, from setup to rollout

A clearer path to deployment.

  1. Choose how to manage

Start with ownership, personal use, and the purpose of your devices.

  2. Work through the details

Find an enrollment route. For dedicated devices, add apps, connectivity, maintenance, and recovery.

  3. Take one plan forward

Review the recommendations and open decisions. Copy, download, or print a brief for your team.

Android Enterprise management models at a glance

The management model defines what the organization manages. Enrollment is the separate process that establishes that model on a device.

Android Deployment Planner FAQs

Does the planner enroll devices or create a kiosk policy?

No. It produces one human-readable planning brief. It does not generate a policy, token, QR code, APK, or device configuration.

Are my answers saved or sent?

No. Answers remain in memory while this page is open. Refreshing or closing it clears them. Analytics may record bounded tool actions, never answers or brief text.

Does a kiosk entry mean the organization owns the device?

No. The kiosk entry suggests a device purpose only. Ownership and personal-use policy must still be answered and may block a dedicated-device design.

Does the result confirm compatibility?

No. Support varies by Android version, OEM, device, app, peripheral, and management provider. Confirm the path with the responsible teams and test representative devices.
