Microsoft Launcher managed configuration for Android

On fully managed devices, IT can use Microsoft Launcher to give every phone the same home screen, whatever the maker. Keys arrive as managed configuration. Most keys come with a matching flag that decides whether people may change the setting later; Microsoft's page lists them all. One caution: Microsoft's key tables spell the feed and wallpaper keys as Feed.Enabled and Wallpaper.URL, while its JSON example on the same page writes Feed.Enable and Wallpaper.Url. This page follows the tables, so test those keys on a pilot device first.

Questions

Microsoft Launcher on managed Android

What is Microsoft Launcher's package name on Android?

com.microsoft.launcher. Use it to find the app when you add it to a policy.

Which devices does it work on?

Microsoft's page describes it for Android Enterprise fully managed devices. The enrollment type key defaults to corporate-owned, business-only devices and no other type is supported yet.

What does UserChangeAllowed do?

If a setting's flag is true, Launcher applies your value once and then respects changes people make. If it is false, your value is applied again on every sync.

Can I set the app order with simple fields?

App order, allowed apps and web links are lists, so they can only be entered as JSON. Microsoft's page shows the fields each entry needs.
