Adobe Acrobat Reader managed configuration for Android
Adobe documents twelve keys for Acrobat Reader on Android Enterprise. They cover the organization name, the sign-in screen, copy and print controls, in-app purchases and the cloud services the app can save to. Every key is a simple on or off value that defaults to on, apart from the organization name. Adobe says the app is Android Enterprise-compliant and should work with EMM vendors that support Android Enterprise.
Copy a setup into the managed configuration of a policy, then adjust the values. Each one uses only keys explained below.
No copy, print or purchases
For sensitive documents: block copy and print, remove the sign-in screen and stop in-app purchases. Cloud storage and sharing stay on unless you also set the allow_ storage keys to false, so this alone does not keep files inside the app.
Key names and value types come from the vendor’s documentation. The explanations are written by Nomid.

Questions
Adobe Acrobat Reader on managed Android
What is Adobe Acrobat Reader's package name on Android?
com.adobe.reader. It is also the package name Microsoft lists for Reader in its Intune supported apps list.
Why do people see two Acrobat Reader icons?
On a device with a work profile Adobe says there is a personal version and a managed version managed by IT, which carries a briefcase badge. Adobe describes the keys as restrictions for the app when it runs in the managed profile.
What happens if I turn off allow_document_cloud?
Adobe says features that rely on Document Cloud services, such as Create PDF and Export PDF, stop working, including for files kept in other clouds. People with a paid, entitled account can still use their paid features.
Does this work with any EMM?
Adobe states the app is Android Enterprise-compliant and should work with EMM vendors that support Android Enterprise. After the app is added, the keys should appear in the EMM console.
